I’m a lifelong fan of Philadelphia and throughout my career I’ve always incorporated giving back to my community in some way. After a rewarding 20+ years at Comcast, I decided to step away from corporate America and devote more time to nonprofit work and other personal interests. I am excited to be currently serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Caring People Alliance, a large umbrella organization that supports underserved youth in Philadelphia. I’ve had the opportunity to use my governance experience and business acumen to create and chair the organization’s first governance committee. I am also a pro bono consultant at Compass Philadelphia, which connects seasoned business professionals with local nonprofits on strategic and governance projects. I’m also serving as a board member and governance committee chair at Pinemere Camp, which holds a special place in my heart as my kids have spent many summers there. In my corporate career with Comcast, I served as the company’s first Chief Compliance Officer. I built and led the corporate compliance function and had oversight responsibility of the company’s enterprise-wide compliance program, including compliance risk management, policy development, complaint handling, and coordination of employee legal and compliance training. I concurrently held the role of Senior Deputy General Counsel and was able to leverage my M&A background to integrate new acquisitions and joint ventures and help shape governance processes.
