My greatest skills include learning all aspects of a company to make my position flourish.After moving to Atlanta in 2001, I was introduced into the world of Business Management through the CFO of a family-owned business. I was mentored through learning about Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, how Operations on a macro-level for businesses works. I was quickly promoted to Office Manager & Bookkeeper, and continued to learn the in's and out's of how a company retains and builds business. Through working trade shows, I was able to budget and execute successful sales and marketing strategies that helped build the company's revenue, even being the first to manage the newly formed eCommerce site.In 2007, I used my learned skills to become the Operations Manager of Blabla LLC, where I owned the full accounting process, and began to take over operational contracts and manage each relationship. I evaluated our merchant service providers and budgets to see where adjustments could be made to save money with success. I initiated new sales and marketing strategies that would move old inventory and create new revenue streams. I developed collections workflows along with payment reconciliation. I worked side by side with the Owner/President to manage all aspects of the company in his absence as he focused more on Sales Revenue. I honed my Operations and Accounting strategies at this company, where I constantly learned how to improve. In 2017, I was offered a new position at Tyler Perry Studios overseeing how the newly formed Operations department would develop a billing team. Although we were a small team, we worked together to develop all of the early needs and business strategies to produce a multi-million dollar, state of the art film studio. While working in collaboration, I was tasked with building the operations accounting billing processes and workflows.
