My resume will show a mix of business, supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal work and volunteer experience.As an independently motivated professional, my prior employment with the Wackenhut Corporation allowed me to start as a receptionist in a high call and traffic office; and with my inventiveness and positive attitude; worked my way up to the Compliance Agent. Working for this high staffed corporation has given me the opportunity to develop creative solutions in organization and create multiple excel files to assist administration and site supervisors in tracking applicants and company billing.Papa John’s Pizza recruited me in 1996 and moved me to the Charlotte, NC area. Originally hired as and Assistant Manager, I quickly made my management skills and attention to details noticeable. While with the Papa John’s Pizza Corporation I utilizeed a multitude of skills as a General Manager of a single restaurant. After running several restaurants, I was then promoted to the Training Coordinator where I facilitated classes in Product Quality, Profit and Loss, Labor Management and even marketing, in a classroom. As that job position moved more to an HR position I returned to the store and became Operator of a Training Restaurant. The position in the training restaurant consisted of an intricate balance of teaching new manager candidates while maintaining the operations of a full functioning restaurant, quality standards and exceeding goals. Tolerance by my restaurant employee satisfaction became critical. Making positive changes for all employees, through store contests and surprises, retention became the number one positive effect on my profits.Girl Scouts of America gave me another opportunity to build confidence, courage and entrepreneurial experiences for young girls and women. During which I was a troop leader, a council member and led the Family Campaign Fund for our district. This fund helped girls who otherwise couldn’t afford scouting to participate.
