Plan and implement Project Connect, a comprehensive program, including a three-week residential summer bridge program as well as academic year programming, to actively engage students who are low-income, first-generation, and/or students of color and to increase their sense of belonging and successful persistence to graduation. Coordinate the Catherine McAuley Scholars program to encourage student success through service, mentorship, leadership, professional development, and financial support. Provide intrusive support for approximately 50 new students each year, focusing on academic success, leadership development, and personal growth. Provide supervisory leadership to Project Connect student leaders who serve as peer mentors for the summer program, and coordinate a peer mentoring program, through a partnership with Seed Coalition (formerly IA MN Campus Compact) and AmeriCorps, that serves first-year students during the academic year. Oversee all operations for the campus food pantry and professional clothing closet. Serve as a representative on appropriate campus committees: CARE Team, Enrollment Management Committee, Admissions Review Committee, Persistence Committee, Title IX Team.
