Primary manager of all events for a 450 resident continuing care retirement community. Implemented a revised activities calendar based on extensive resident feedback increased the number of activities by 50%. Innovatively formulated opportunities for increased social activity and interaction by planning dances, birthday parties, art shows and sporting tournaments. Directed two successful annual Family Days for 1,200+ participants. Planned 8 days trips monthly for 20+ residents to various surrounding areas. Created, edited, and published monthly 16-page resident newsletter that included articles, a detailed calendar, and photos which was distributed to current residents, utilized to market to 300 prospective residents and posted on the company web site. Managed all fundraising events for the institution. Exceeded $2 million fundraising goal and increased revenue by more than $425,000. Promoted from Donor Relations Officer to Donor Relations Manager in December 2006 for exceptional leadership ability. Rebuilt and supervised all members of the Special Events Team trained two new team members on how to manage logistics, communication pieces, sponsorship tracking, stewardship, and vendor relationships. Collaborated with members of Management Team to successfully increase event sponsorship, donor attendance, and staff support. Cultivated relationships with major donors, sponsor contacts, event chairs, and volunteers. Utilized communication and public speaking skills when acting as the spokesperson for all event-related media/publicity including television and radio interviews. Implemented Light the Night and Man / Woman of the Year campaigns exceeded budgeted goals for both campaigns, including the first increase for Light the Night in six years by $5,000. Created and maintained relationships with team captains, community leaders, and volunteers. Presented event and sponsorship information to company executives recruited new corporate teams / sponsors.

Managed 35 national accounts and assisted in the management of 75 additional national accounts. Acted as direct contact person for national account customers communicated with customers and key Cintas associates implemented newly acquired national accounts, account renewals, and price increases. Led training and development for 10 new Cintas associates in National Accounts division. Created and revised documents, policies, and procedures for Cintas and its national customers.
