Responsible for facilitating the Talent Acquisition and selection process by utilizing a variety of sourcing methods to attract qualified candidates for Distribution Services.- Managed the Mississauga and Brampton TJX Canada Distribution Centre talent initiatives.- Create and execute a robust recruitment strategy for each position in order to attract enough top talent to effectively fill positions quickly with minimal cost. - Coach and counsel internal applicants for career development.- Developed and delivered performance reviews- Leverage my network and attend recruitment events to reinforce TJX Canada's career opportunities. - Facilitate recruitment workshops for hiring managers.- Maintain detailed development plans for projects, understand and apply principles of project control; ability to manage projects within one or more systems.- Support and participate in recruitment and retention projects as assigned. - Ensure all recruitment administration is complete real time, including reporting and metrics.- Provide candidates with an exceptional experience throughout the talent acquisition and selection process.- Conduct new hire orientation for all unionized DC Associates. On board Management team. - Research and develop alternative sourcing initiatives including website recruiting, community outreach programs, Government Employment programs and Social Media. (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Indeed etc.)- Flex my schedule to work various hours and shifts to meet the needs of the business.- Leads and manages the GWA unionized recruitment and selection process. Successfully hired 300 + candidates across two Distribution Centres.

Work closely with hiring Managers to identify current and future recruitment needs for union positions.Facilitate the recruitment process with in Distribution Services for hourly Associates. Conduct new hire orientation for new DC Associates.Facilitate and coordinate testing for unionized Associates for higher classificationsMaintain a positive working relationship with union stewards to ensure the recruitment process as per the Collective Agreement is being adhered to.Partner with Health and Safety to facilitate training schedules for unionized Associates.Provide high level customer service to business partners in a timely and professional manner.Manage 100 Salaried Associate’s payroll and track/audit vacation entitlements, assists with hourly payroll for 500 unionized Associates.Assist with hourly payroll inquires benefits questions (loans, scheduled extended leaves, compassionate leaves etc.) Associate relation issues.
