• Train, supervise and motivate new accounting and administration staff • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices. • Assists with monthly status reports, and monthly closings. • Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons. • Maintain and update Human Resources Company Handbook as well as Health and Safety Company Policy Manual • Participate in Health and Safety Committee meetings providing input, taking minutes, and maintaining Health and Safety notice boards • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, staff, and suppliers • Produce and provide documents for management staff including Insurance Certificates, WSIB Certificates, Ministry of Labour Forms and Statutory Declarations • Process weekly and monthly payroll Electronic Funds Transfers • Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable including: vendor maintenance, data entry, employee expense reports and payment • Maintain confidential records including accounting documents and reports. • Type periodic reports and other records.
