After more than two decades in the White House and numerous roles in political communications, I left my last job on the campaign trail in 2016 with a lot of questions. Why aren't Americans listening to one another? Is democracy stable? And why are we still not ready for our first woman president?! Those questions prompted me to leave politics and launch a new chapter of my career where I can explore these topics. From becoming a NYT bestselling author writing two books about women's leadership, to interviewing pioneering women who break all the rules on my podcast "Just Something About Her," and uncovering triumphs and setbacks for democracy for Showtime's "The Circus" - I set myself apart by approaching today's most difficult questions with curiosity, kindness, and empathy and want to help others (particularly women!) present their best, most authentic selves to the world.
