I have been working in Adult Education for 22 years and it is something I am very passionate about. I find it extremely rewarding when i see a learner work through a qualification and I take great pleasure in seeing them progress. I have met a wide range of people with different abilities and skills and I love guiding those learners through their qualification and seeing them develop under my instruction. I enjoy meeting people who want to learn. I get to know them and I make it a priority that they are aware of my commitment to them throughout the whole learning experience. I am very confident in my own abilities and i have built up a lot of great relationships with employers and stakeholders over the years. I enjoy being in a flexible role because i like to be able to change things and adapt to different environments. In all of my roles I am very much relied on to manage my own time, my own resources, my milestones and my organisations/learners that i meet. This comes very easily to me and i see these as particular strengths of mine.My most recent role has been in the delivery of Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2. This is an amazing challenge where i support Adult learners through their Maths and English that are part of their apprenticeship. I like to think i have helped them build their confidence in these subjects as so many of them left school a long time ago. I achieved my own qualification in Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2 as i feel it is very important to not only teach but to show learners I know what I'm talking about. I thoroughly enjoy coaching and supporting learners.
