I grew from an assistant to my current position of Records Systems Specialist by serving on a development team tasked with transitioning Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarbourogh, LLC. from the Records Management software they maintained for 20 years, LegalKEY, to our new software, FileTrail. I have since become the resident expert on FileTrail and serve as a liaison between FileTrail and the Firm. Our Records Management team is responsible for the consistent management of Firm Records during the various stages of their lifecycle from creation or receipt, through processing, distribution, maintenance, and use, to their disposition. We manage all Records created, received, or held by Nelson Mullins in both physical and electronic media as evidence of and information about the business activities and transactions of the Firm.
