About Jennifer Thyer

Some people may call me a jack-of-all-skills. Over the past 26 years, I have embraced opportunities to work in diverse settings on 3 different continents. I have mentored children in private and public schools, directed community members to utilize available resources, managed new employees, planned and hosted inclusive events for embassy personnel and family members, taught culinary skills to local nationals in Tanzania, opened a bakery while living at Fort Bragg, served as a liaison between community leaders and members, and compassionately mothered Marines far from home. These are a few of my favorite skills. MORE TO COME…While I thrive at the corner of work and life, I recognize that being a jack-of-all-skills is not my goal. My family’s transient military lifestyle has required me to adapt professionally with each move. I have developed the ability to be flexible and creative, which I cherish. I desire to utilize my education, work experiences, and life pursuits in leveraging a full-time career in Human Resources Management. If you desire someone who is willing to dig deep, plant roots, and grow within your HR, then I’m excited to embrace my new opportunity with YOU!
