This company offered me the opportunity to learn more about the Hawaiian culture, aloha spirit and what is like to be treated as part of an Ohana (Family). • Opening Duties for morning shift at the floor and Bar area.• Working close with manager on duty in regards of functioning as a supervisor when the MOD is not on the floor. Processing Comps or Voids, checking server’s duties according to restaurant standards before they leave. Taking active responsibility when operating the floor making decisions on sections and seating. • Take accurate food and drink orders from guest. Deliveries in a timely manner making sure that everything is served according to guest preferences and satisfaction. Obtain guest payment and processed accordingly. • Make sure side work is done according to the restaurant procedures. At the end of the breakfast/lunch shift make sure that the restaurant is clean and set for next shift .• Processed my Server Cash out form and in the systems (HIS) making sure that cash and credit cards slips are complete and in order.• If working Bar area, restock beer in the coolers. Restock liquor bottles in the well. Make sure that the bar area is clean and ready for the next Bartender.
