Along with my team, I coordinate special projects in support of statewide initiatives and provide technical assistance to the eight Migrant Education Tutorial and Support Services (METS) program centers in New York State. One of my primary duties is managing the program’s website. I also spend a good deal of time working with a team that plans, promotes, and facilitates research-based professional development workshops for program Educators. We aim to provide quality leadership through identifying needs and allocating and developing resources to aid the direct services of the program centers.

Our team developed and implemented the remote work and flexible scheduling programs (long before the COVID-19 pandemic) as well as the employee recognition/celebration program.

Served as the dedicated point of contact for clients regarding maintenance and changes needed for online applications.Advised clients how time and attendance, payroll, and the human resources integrated applications work together to provide HR business solutions.Manage client accounts pertaining to discounts, credits, and accounts receivable.Managed hardware (time clocks); including troubleshooting network and connectivity issues and advising how to adjust settings to meet functionality requirements specific to the client’s environment.Served as an events committee member: the team is responsible for the planning and execution of business events (holidays/special occasions). I recruited help for these functions based on scope.
