Perform all duties as a Trial Attorney in addition to acting as lead asset management counsel. Manage all legal issues related to a liquidated credit union and managing its assets, including, but not limited to, managing litigation of the liquidated estate, providing representation and advice related to bond and other insurance matters, drafting and negotiating contracts related to financial services management, like loan sales, loan servicing, and advisory services, and drafting real estate documents like lien releases, assignments, allonges, and lost instrument affidavits.

Perform all tasks necessary to enforce FIRREA rules and regulations on behalf of the National Credit Union Adminstration. Investigate regulatory and statutory violations, and draft adminstrative orders and supporting documentation to protect the safety and soundness of credit unions and mitigate losses to the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund. Represent agency in employment related disputes in EEOC cases and internal mediations. Mediate internal employment disputes. Draft litigation documents, settlement agreements, and advisory memoranda related to agency employment matters.

Litigation Associate in the Insurance Recovery and Consumer Financial Services Groups. Draft briefs, pleadings, and discovery related documents on behalf of corporate policyholders in complex litigation against insurance companies. Draft motions and memoranda to support administrative claims on behalf of domestic producers against U.S. Customs and surety companies. Manage discovery phase of commercial litigation cases. Work with insurers to resolve coverage disputes by drafting settlement and coverage agreements, and preparing analytical tools to assist insurers in understanding coverage history. Advise foreign and domestic consumer financial services companies on a wide range of banking and privacy regulations.Pro bono. Represent clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds as pro bono counsel in uncontested divorce proceedings in conjunction with Legal Services of Northern Virginia.
