Leading the team responsible for Evidence Generation systems support. The team has three functions. We support Pfizer's real world data partnerships, the technology that drives RWE workflows and governance and we house the innovation engine for RWE/I/D.

Delivered Pfizer's first real world precision medicine strategy. Projects supported understanding class specific mechanisms of resistance in the real world, the relationship between biomarker testing and treatment selection, and the sourcing of novel molecular data (single cell RNA, proteomics) from real world sources.

Responsible for RWE strategy including data selection and acquisition, evidence generation and insights supporting Pfizer's oncology assets.

Market Lead for Integra Intelligence. Head of a product team plus a team of analysts and data scientists responsible for the build and maintenance of Integra Intelligence, the market leading analytics solution for community oncology value based care. In March 2020, we launched the first AI-enabled product at Integra, and have continued to drive AI/ML adoption within Integra.Head of Data Solutions: Lead Integra Connect's team of 100 engineers, data curators, analysts and operations specialists who use technology (NLP) and human curation to generate Real World Data (RWD) and Real World Evidence (RWE), both as data products and to support the other analytics product lines.

Clinical and Claims-Based Quality Reporting: Developed interactive dashboards to calculate and display clinical and claims-based quality metrics, in accordance with specifications provided by alternative payment models, including the Oncology Care Model.Predictive Analytics: Using regression and machine learning techniques (random forest, neural network) to develop models that predict specific, actionable outcomes of interest, including end of life, hospitalization, cost, therapy failure, medication adherence. Implementation of these models in a care management product, and continual maintenance of model fit and coefficients.Acting HEOR Director, Life Sciences: Acting director for ad hoc analytics for PrecisionQ, the life science facing arm of Integra Connect. Lead a team of 5 analysts and product managers to ensure the delivery of $8 million in ad hoc analytics revenue.Value Based Contracting/Alternative Payment Model Design: Design of value based contracts that formalize value models between practices, pharmaceutical companies and payers, including incentives to provide value-based care. Development of cost and value models to support value based contracts. Models designed around three different disease states, each with potential savings of 10% or more.Oncology Pathway Compliance and Outcomes: Completed demonstration projects calculating outcomes for all “on pathway” regimens in a given indication. Developed visualizations to communicate effectiveness, safety and cost for all regimens. These visualizations support the development of high value pathways. Automated compliance calculations and dashboard visualization for established pathways.Product manager, analytics: Responsible for managing the analytics roadmap, spanning life science and population health analytics. Work with product marketing to identify product opportunities, write requirements, and support a team of 15 developers, 3 product owners and 3 QA as a subject matter expert.

OCM Consulting: Advise oncology practices participating in the CMMI Oncology Care Model and other value-based payment contracts. Provide quality and financial analytics and interpretation, recommend best practices and conduct ongoing workflow analysis.Data Manager, COME HOME Program: Responsible for design and maintenance of largest community oncology dataset collected to date. Data is sourced from EHR, PMS and claims, transformed to a standard data model and stored in secure databases (Postgresql and MongoDB). Directly manage 2.0 FTE. Indirect manager for an additional 4.0 FTE. Extensive written and oral communication with a large number of stakeholders.Grants management: day to day management of the IOBS research portfolio. In 2016, our research program will include a minimum of $200,000 in revenue and $500,000 in applications. We will publish a minimum of 4 peer-reviewed articles.Machine learning: lead a research effort to leverage machine learning (neural networks on a Tensorflow framework) to develop personalized predictive models of survival, cost and complication rates in oncology.Product Manger for IOBS pathway systems: Designed, built and maintain pathway database, website, and API for triage pathway system and for open source oncology clinical pathways. Manage roadmap and oversee ongoing system development.Claims-based reporting: combining claims files (CMS and commercial) with practice supplied clinical and financial data to support quality reporting and value-based payment contracts.Oversee helpdesk for triage pathway system and process. Three helpdesk technicians supply support and monthly performance reporting for triage users.

Designed and executed analysis plans to support researcher at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research. Key projects included utilization of genetic testing in colorectal and breast cancer, guidelines compliances in oncology, and measuring the effectiveness of chiropractic care and acupuncture in the treatment of chronic pain. For the chronic pain study, I lead a team that developed and validated a technique for prospectively matching patients in an observational clinical trial using propensity scores.

Managed investigator initiated studies from conception through grant writing and execution. Designed and oversaw a data quality program for clinical research trials.Managed regulatory affairs for 50+ studies.

Developed automated and ad hoc reports to support Quality and Reliability Engineering. Built real time dashboards to monitor key quality metrics. Data analysis to support failure analysis. Developed new quality metrics including a measure of average outgoing quality.
