My role is centred on working with corporate clients who are looking at benefiting from a direct, cost effective recruitment advertising solution. I worked closely with the management and sales team to ensure that they were fully supported from the Marketing Team. This included undergoing a full re-brand, review of key messages and core company proposition into the market place.During this role, this I utilised various mediums to communicated the changes and key messages from Surgi C into the market place, which included the introduction of digital into the marketing mix.

This role involved; • Reviewing the current positing of the core business and developing a high level strategic marketing-communications plan, including internal communications • Taking a strategic view to the current brand and ensuring the brand positioning is maximising commercial opportunities, which has lead to a full re-brand • Acting as a campaign manager for various marketing initiatives, including micro campaigns for all 25 static units and 40 mobile units which are B2B and well as B2C campaigns • Re-launching the group website, developing micro sites for specific sites and re-launching the intranet • Supporting the sales team with the marketing collateral that is required and ensuring that the strategies are coherent • Managing departmental budget

I worked as part of the senior management teams, which have been designed to take responsibility for the strategic development of the units and the setting and delivering of targets and budgets. I also managed teams, which gives me the opportunity to develop other people skill set and has also included restructuring one team. This role involved; • Consultant liaison including fee negotiation and service development• Contract negotiations with Primary Care Trusts / NHS Trusts / GP Surgeries including organizing and signing off on an Orthopedic contract worth £1.2m with a proportionally high profit margin • Support the achievement of hospital profitability and growth targets through the development, implementation and monitoring of the hospital’s business development strategy• PR and Advertising campaigns through mediums such as magazines, newspapers, radio• Reviewing marketing campaigns and the ROI of campaign including raising brand awareness • Organising in-house and external marketing events to GP’s, public and other target audiences • Developing and maintaining internal relations/communications through various mediums• Reviewing and developing the Assistant Business Development Managers, Enquiry Handlers and Cosmetic Services Co-ordinator’s • Involvement with and heading up various projects that have been undertaken corporately • Creating synergies across the two sites where applicable, through knowledge transferring, sharing of best practice and developing the Business Development teams to support each other
