Special Events Coordinator
Current• Coordinates all special events on Port of San Francisco property including walks/runs, marathons, athletic events, corporate events, private events, conferences, press conferences, concerts, retail events, nonprofit fundraisers/events, community events, and civic events • Collaborates with City/State regulatory agencies regarding approvals and permitting• Manages conflict resolution between licensees, tenants, community groups and regulatory agencies• Negotiates, drafts and executes contracts, licenses, and lease agreements with perspective and current tenants/licensees for permitted usage of commercial real estate properties and public access areas• Facilitates property maintenance issues, including scheduling maintenance, repairs and improvements to leased/license areas, common areas, public access space, etc.• Performs site inspections prior to commencement, during length of term and upon expiration to ensure property is in rentable condition and maintained according to contractual agreements• Analyzes economic feasibility of underutilized venues for interim leasing opportunities• Develops marketing strategies and tools to highlight facilities as a prime and accessible event option to local, national and international clients• Maintains website and informational bulletins to tenants, neighborhood groups, community advisory committees, external stakeholders and the interested public• Creates budget plan, reports revenue, and recommends increase of fees based on market analysis and trends• Ensures compliance of all invoicing, collection of fees, security deposits, permits, and COI• Assists in execution of MOU with Entertainment Commission and Film SF and Staff Reports to Port Commission• ISCOTT Committee Member• Special Events Steering Committee (SESC) Committee Member• Assists Film Commission in coordination of filming and photo shoots• Organizes Port fitness class calendar/schedule in conjunction with SF Rec and Park
