CurrentSupervise daily operations and workflow of Technical Services• Oversee and monitor all cataloging and processing work performed both in-house and by vendors (~1.8 million physical items in collection)• Serve on team responsible for writing, reviewing, maintaining, administering and modifying all materials RFP and BID contracts• Create and maintain all vendor cataloging and processing profiles• Track vendor performance, including notifying vendors of changes, errors and issues with cataloging and processing• Create, maintain, and disseminate cataloging policies and procedures to both staff and the public• Create, modify, and maintain Technical Services portion of the library staff intranet• Implement usage of new internal ticketing system for all staff to request assistance from Technical Services in addressing catalog and item errors and inconsistencies• During re-organization for upper library administration, served on Library Leadership Team (~10 months)Monitor and maintain the catalog• Responsible for portions of the library system’s Strategic and Long-Range Plan relating to catalog data organization, maintenance, accessibility, and the overall circulation of materials (~9.2 million transactions annually)• Lead committee responsible for catalog data cleanup for migration to SaaS and implementation of discovery layer overlay to OPAC.• Serve as Palm Beach County liaison on SEFLIN (Southeast Library Information Network) Catalogers Group
