As the mom of dyslexic learner, I know how challenging it can be to navigate special education in a public school district, which is why I founded Right to Read Advocacy, LLC.As an educational advocate, I help to demystify the overwhelming process and guide parents to ask the critical questions, further empowering them to support their child's unique learning needs. I focus on synthesizing student data while improving outcomes. My recent education includes successful completion of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates' (COPAA) Special Education and Advocacy Training (SEAT) 1.0 course. I have also completed the Orton-Gillingham Academy Subscriber Course and WrightsLaw Special Ed Law & Advocacy Training. I highly recommend all of these courses! I am also passionate about serving in my local community. Through my volunteer efforts, I support organizations including Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, Distinguished Young Women of Connecticut, and Weston Parents for SPED Progress.
