In this role I collaborated with the interactive leadership team to set the UX strategy for Oracle’s marketing digital touch points. I partnered with key business leaders, creative and coding teams, while leading a talented user experience team to redefine the way brands connect with consumers and to translate business strategy into breakthrough user centered design solutions that address complex business, marketing, and user needs.

I led a team that supported the overall goal of engagement for outcomes across the customer journey. This included solutions for both B2B, B2C and employee experiences.

As a User Experience Consultant, I collaboratively worked with clients to define Information Architecture for web sites. I worked side by side with client experts in domain knowledge to create relevant experiences for the customers or partners that needed to utilize the web sites.Work included:-multi-user/company online transactional tool to negotiate spot cable advertisement-healthcare-manufacturing-retail-banking-large, diverse, private companies with need to represent multiple brands in multiple countriesAdditionally, I also practiced & conducted usability research for clients and facilitated workshops.

My management and I designed this position based on the growing needs of the company. I proposed a need for a team that focused on the overall User Experience of the techies.com website. Management agreed and I was chosen to lead the team.The team consisted of individuals practicing graphic design, information architecture, instructional design, Flash development, usability, and interaction design. My role was dual as a people manager/creative manager.

Responsibilities for this position included building client profile web sites with the techies.com web site structure. Design, code, and structure decisions needed to be made and executed quickly and efficiently. Monthly job fairs were also part of the web developer responsibilities. In this position I worked with colleagues to define our site and coding standards.Primarily focused on projects within a multi-user type, multi-segment e-commerce website. Created sitemaps, wireframes and documentation to support the co-branding of partner sites (including ZDnet and Cnet). Also created information architecture for the first site celebrating a national holiday in honor of technologists (Techies Day).

I worked with clients in the early days of the Internet to create an online presence. My work included planning, project managment, design, information architecture, coding, hosting, and strategy.
