Growing up as a first-generation student in the U.S., I have found that it has shaped my goals and aspirations for my future. Communication was a large part of my childhood, understanding that I needed to learn a new language to effectively communicate with my peers and teachers. Although this was an early challenge, I had great support and mentors along the way. Since then, I have valued every connection and opportunity that has arisen. From public speaking to my leadership roles in school clubs, I take pride in my education and learning something new every day. As a third-year Business Marketing undergraduate student at Edgewood College, I plan to showcase the skills I have attained throughout my experiences in a role after graduating. I am seeking opportunities in which I can obtain further experience in marketing and keep building my skills. Ultimately, I am eager to find a role in which I can make a greater impact.
