About Jennifer Chamberlin
My variety of experiences working with youth and young adults has guided my own compassionate philosophy of care that I employ today. In my previous role as a special education paraprofessional, I had the opportunity to provide one on one support to many individuals facing challenges as a result of a variety of disabilities. In my current role as a respite provider, I facilitate social participation of my clients by providing support in their communities. Through engagement in meaningful activities and community integration, I have helped numerous individuals overcome their challenges and improve their overall quality of life. Combined with my knowledge acquired from the occupational therapy assistant program at RVCC, I utilize a therapeutic use of self in order to foster positive change in my clients.
