I am an Executive Leader dedicated to building equitable, high quality, and compassionate behavioral health care for vulnerable populations. I excel at taking visionary, complex ideas, and strategically translating them into feasible and doable solutions. A few of my signature accomplishments include:• Member of the California Health Care Foundation Leadership Program. The program aims to create a strong network of effective leaders who will further health equity and improved health for all Californians.• To confront racism in behavioral health, designed statewide virtual training series aimed at increasing awareness of the interplay between implicit bias, structural racism, behavioral health institutional racism, and behavioral health disparities. • In response to the emergency need for increased access to behavioral health services due to COVID-19, designed, and implemented statewide virtual training series on improving skills in behavioral telehealth. Each training had over 1500 participants, including behavioral health clinicians, supervisors, and leaders.• Creation of the Population Health Division for the Inland Empire Health Plan. This division consisted of 5 departments and 350 employees with a budget of $5 million. The division initiated programs to address social determinants of health, such as an award-winning Housing program, 3 Community Resource Centers, Health Homes, and Integrated Behavioral Health and Care Management. • Design and implementation of $30,000,000 Behavioral Health and Integrated Complex Care Management Initiative (BHICCI). This was a large-scale delivery system redesign initiative which enrolled almost 7 thousand patients and launched across 30 medical and behavioral health provider clinics. Results included improved physical and behavioral health outcomes, increased patient engagement, and lowered inpatient and emergency room costs.
