With extensive experience in scientific writing, policy development, and strategic leadership, I lead initiatives that inspire meaningful change.I am a strong advocate for animal welfare, striving to enhance the ethical use of sentient animals in education and research. My diverse qualifications and experience in education, science, leadership, business management, and veterinary fields reflect my commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence. Currently, as a doctoral candidate, I am researching the roles of education, leadership, and professional identity in advancement of the veterinary nursing/technology professions.I have a background in scientific writing, industry governance, policy development, and strategic thought leadership. As the founder and chair of the Allied Veterinary Professional Regulatory Council, I have shaped standards and practices that recognise and regulate veterinary nurses and technicians, protecting animal welfare and the public interest, as well as ensuring our contributions are valued.
