My diverse qualifications and experience in education, science, leadership, business management, and veterinary fields reflect my commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence. Currently, as a doctoral candidate, I am researching the roles of education, leadership, and professional identity in advancement of the veterinary nursing/technology professions.I have a background in scientific writing, industry governance, policy development, and strategic thought leadership. As the founder and chair of the Allied Veterinary Professional Regulatory Council, I have shaped standards and practices that recognise and regulate veterinary nurses and technicians, protecting animal welfare and the public interest, as well as ensuring our contributions are valued.
