Over the past 30 years, I have taught all academic levels in grades 9-12. My passions in education are composition, assessment development/item writing, and gifted and talented students and services. My expertise is in writing instruction, especially for the AP and IB English courses. I am also an educational consultant and teach study sessions and workshops for a variety of organizations including The College Board, Educational Testing Services, National Math and Science Initiative, Colorado Education Initiative, DDC, and AP-TIP in Indiana. I have taught IB Theory of Knowledge and am currently an IB examiner and Team Lead for English Language and Literature Exams. I also have a Master's Degree in Education, an Educational Counseling License in Colorado, a Gifted and Talented Specialist License in Colorado, and both English/Language Arts and Social Studies endorsements in Colorado.
