Caring for a loved one with cognitive decline is one of the most difficult things to go through in life. Caregivers go through a range of difficult emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, confusion, loneliness, and social isolation to name a few. Although there are some support groups out there, there are very few services to support the caregiver in his/her journey and it can have serious impact on their physical and mental health. As a life coach specializing in this field, I help the caregiver give their best self to their loved one by gaining new perspective, clarity, learning self-compassion and the importance of self-care and finding courage and strength to know they can do it. Together we can build a personalized plan that reflects the caregiver’s needs as well as the loved one being care for.
