Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Proof Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely balancing of all transactions, for item sorting and statement preparation, for cash letter processing, for balancing general ledger accounts, and for performing various other bookkeeping duties. This position is responsible for providing high-quality customer service, and for actively contributing to a strong sales environment within the Bank.

As a Customer Service Representative, my primary responsibility is to help service customers with paying and receiving functions at the Bank, deepen customer relationships, and attract additional customers. This position is responsible for making deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for customers as well as opening new deposit accounts, selling Visa prepaid cards, cashing bonds, assisting with safety deposit boxes answering the phones, and other retail functions.

I started out as a Customer Service Representative, then became a charter member of the auditing team in January 2002. In Performance Measurement and Reporting, I audited Customer Service phone calls, enrollment files, claims, and Vendor phone calls. In July 2013 I transitioned to Performance Quality and Development. Some of my responsibilities are/have been auditing Vendor calls, and Customer Service phone calls. In addition, I contributed information to our training manual. I have participated in job shadows and as many training sessions as have been available to me. I am the team's 'go to' person for help with computer programs and searching for resource documents.

I started as a cashier, and I have helped out in grocery and dairy stocking shelves, making signs for the products that are on sale. When I became a Customer Service Manager and bookkeeper, I tallied the sales and managed the banking for the institution.
