Over 20 years of experience in communications, advertising, marketing, and promotions for industries such as education, government, food and beverage, aviation, retail, construction, electronics and non-profits. Currently, Jennifer serves as the Director of Public, Government and Community Relations at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, where she leads media and public relations, and well as legislative and community advocacy. Previously, Jennifer Served as the Director of Communications at San Diego Mesa College. She oversaw public relations, web, social media, as well as program and event promotions. Prior to Mesa College Jennifer served as the Director of Communications for Council President Sherri Lightner at the City of San Diego. Prior to that, she was the Strategic Partnerships Manager in the City's Office of Corporate Partnerships and Development. From 2006-2012, she supervised the City's award-winning Think Blue San Diego storm water pollution prevention public education program. Before joining the City in 2006, she owned and managed a marketing consulting firm, TRIA Advertising, worked for top-ten ranked firms, including Horizon Marketing Communications and the Creative Group.
