What does diversity and inclusion mean to me? It means intersectional identities being included and recognized that their underrepresented perspective is a necessary cultural addition in the workplace. I am a first-generation alumna from the University of California, San Diego, with a demonstrated history of working in the social services and technology industries. I thrive in communication, project management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. I obtained my Diversity and Inclusion Certification from Cornell University and am an activist for socio-economically disadvantaged groups. I strive to promote and create psychological safety for those who have been historically marginalized.
