What does diversity and inclusion mean to me? It means intersectional identities being included and recognized that their underrepresented perspective is a necessary cultural addition in the workplace. I am a first-generation alumna from the University of California, San Diego, with a demonstrated history of working in the social services and technology industries. I thrive in communication, project management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. I obtained my Diversity and Inclusion Certification from Cornell University and am an activist for socio-economically disadvantaged groups. I strive to promote and create psychological safety for those who have been historically marginalized. Driven by self-motivation and a strong work ethic, I aim to leverage my interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in any professional setting. My ability to collaborate effectively in team environments is driven by my genuine love for socializing and relationship-building.
