Jennifer Williams Email and Phone Number
It has always been a dream of mine to own a restaurant/bar. Creating drinks, creating ideas for food and making an atmosphere where customers just simply want to be. However, I also love the other side. Marketing/designing promotional ideas for a profitable business is MY PASSION! I breath ideas to evolve something small in to something larger and profitable. I'm not afraid to think outside the box. I thrive on creating new ideas but today, most ideas are being recreated by old, rusty, failing ideas that just need planning and organization. My previous jobs have allowed me to be in a position to fix issues (bring in more business, organize/create procedures and policies, use social media as a key marketing tool, reorganize or create new business plans), so in a sense, I feel compelled to be a problem solver. It can be described as a "bandaid" for companies. Advanced Knowledge of Office Programs:

Restaurant And Bar ManagerSweetwater Cafe Jun 2013 - PresentAgua Dulce, CaliforniaI started out at the Sweetwater Cafe as the sole bartender/mixologist. As bartender, I am responsible for making and serving alcoholic beverages, alcohol consumption control and watching the social cues of consumers. I also am responsible for knowing the laws and new policies incorporated by the Department of ABC and the FDA. I handle all bookings for live entertainment on every Friday and Saturday night. I have worked with our head chef/kitchen manager to build a delicious happy hour menu to accompany my tasty cocktails. I create signature drinks to go along with our daily specials throughout the week. I am responsible for all inventory and breakage reports. I handle all alcohol, beer and wine ordering through various vendors, as well as, checking prices throughout different vendors to ensure a high profit margin. I have completely revamped our POS (point of sale) system so it's more efficient and easy to use for all servers. I am also responsible for closing and locking up every night.I have now been promoted to Cafe manager. My job now includes all of the above plus - I serve during the week (various shifts) and cover for any employee that can not make their shift. I have created many various spread sheets to organize, create goals for servers and help keep them accountable for themselves and their own job. I have been trained to handle the bi-weekly payroll with ADP. I have also been trained and help with General Ledgers, P&L's and I enter all daily/nightly server cash drops and closing reports into a quarterly spreadsheet for each day and month. We also have movie studios film at our cafe on a regular basis. I am responsible for staying on the premises the entire time of filming and conducting starting/final walk-through's to ensure everything is in working order for us to open the following day.. -
Office Manager/ Event Coordinator/ InstructorUniversity Of Mixology Jan 2013 - Aug 2013Santa Clarita, CaliforniaIn the evening, I instructed a classroom of students on techniques and the back history of bartending, as well as, the history behind most drinks, individually. I was also the office manager during the day. I was responsible for all marketing advertisement and promotions. The school did not have a policy and procedure book for employees when I arrived. Therefore, I designed and typed up a one hundred-fifty page, policy and procedure handbook for employees. The handbook also included an entire, step by step section to inform every employee on how to use every program they have access to. I also created a step by step handbook for managers and administrators. I revamped the schools quick books program because it was not setup correctly before me. I programmed and organized all the different avenues you can utilize through quick books. I assisted another employee in answering all emails and phone calls. I was being trained in sales for potential new clients. I was required to take a course on sales through Butterfield Enterprise. By far, one of the best training classes I have ever had to take. I learned more in several weeks than I had learned in months through business course in college. Highly recommended. I created various spreadsheets on excel, including test sheets and different style spreadsheets for collections. I helped redesign the schools logo, redo their entire website and created a new look for their brochures and business cards. I was also responsible for all event planning, budgeting and pricing out event. I also worked all special events and promoted.

Warehouse Supervisor/ Customer Service RepLa Police Gear 2009 - 2011Valencia, CaliforniaI was a Supervisor of 7-13 employees in the shipping area in our #1 warehouse. I was responsible for quality control. Making sure each invoice matched our database information and responsible for labeling 700-2600 packages a day through UPS and USPS and 25-50 international packages, as well as, filling out appropriate paperwork for customs. I was responsible for loading the UPS freight truck though out the day and loading all available cages for USPS before the pick up times. I would handle all pickups and assist with walk-in customers. Until we were able to hire someone, I also handled all returns from customers and government agencies and conducted quality control on all returned items. I would contact our vendors for RA numbers and repackage undamaged items. I was responsible for opening all systems (8 computers) in the morning and closing down all systems at night so the orders were processed. After 2 years with the company I moved upstairs to be trained in the customer service aspect of the company. I handled 50 - 100 emails a day, answered phone calls on a 10 line call center, placed orders for customers, small government agencies and military over seas. I was also responsible for large order quotes ($20,000 - $200,000) for larger government agencies and placing their orders once the quotes were approved by federal or state agencies. Once larger orders were pulled in the warehouse, I would check the order to ensure every item was accounted for and approve the order for shipping.
