"What I’ve learnt is that I still have a lot to learn.” This quote of Maya Angelou's is one of my favourites. It's this belief in continual professional and personal growth that helps drive many of us during our busy working lives. It’s what prepares us to seize the next opportunity, pursue a new role, or simply increase the confidence and expertise with which we do the work we’re passionate about. And yet we rarely have the time or space we need to take a step back, consolidate our gains, and think about what we really want next. That's where coaching comes in: helping you to gain clarity about what it is you really want, to unstick yourself if you're feel stuck, and to find the resources you'll need to reach your goal. My passion for adult learning has defined my career. For the last ten years, I've specialized as a senior communication coach and facilitator, designing and delivering programmes for organisations in the financial, consumer, telco, professional services, and creative industries. I'm particularly interested in how our beliefs, values and mindset inform how we communicate at work, especially when we’re under pressure. Before joining AGL, I spent five years in Learning and Development at Christie’s, the international art business. During this time, I completed an MSc in Human and Organisational Development, including a thesis about the role communication plays in helping employees learn complex skills on the job. I grew up between northern Italy and the West Midlands and have always been fascinated by how language fosters belonging. This led me to study Modern & Medieval Languages at the University of Cambridge, and Linguistics at the University of Chicago.
