Currently, as the COO of EmpowerLocal, I’m championing our mission to create a thriving local news ecosystem across North America. We’re focused on redirecting advertising dollars back into local communities, empowering local news organizations, and building a bridge between big brands and trusted local media sources. Together with our partners, we're not just changing the way local advertising works – we're helping to secure the future of local journalism.My career began in the nonprofit sector, where I spent 18 years dedicated to advancing missions that uplift communities and create lasting impact. During my tenure at BGCMT, I had the privilege of leading a remarkable team of dedicated and resourceful leaders. Together, we more than doubled the organization’s revenue and youth served while making significant strides in advocating for youth at both the local and national levels.Philanthropy has always been a passion of mine. I believe it brings out the best in us, enabling us to accomplish the small, everyday tasks and the big, seemingly impossible challenges together. This belief continues to drive my work.My leadership philosophy centers on compassion, collaboration, and the power of community. I’m committed to fostering an inspiring and productive company culture, one that celebrates creativity, transparency, and mutual empowerment. It’s this environment that allows us to not only meet but exceed our ambitious goals.In addition to my work, I’m deeply committed to advocacy through AWAKE Tennessee, an organization dedicated to advancing the systemic rights of women and young people. Our grassroots efforts in Tennessee have led to impactful policy changes that ensure women, young people, and other marginalized communities have equitable opportunities to thrive.When I’m not driving business growth or advocating for change, you’ll find me spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and our two rescue dogs—whether we’re relaxing in our backyard, cheering on the Titans, or enjoying the vibrant culture of Nashville.
