Direct the staff and operations of campus technology and technology help desk to provide quality customer service, stable, secure, and reliable technology support to meet the needs of faculty, staff and students and fulfilling the strategic plans of the College District.- Direct and supervise the technical staff charged with the support of computer and media systems in classrooms, labs, offices, conference centers, help desk, and other areas of the college as well as meetings and district events.- Oversee the college’s Help Desk staff and contracted help desk support.- Plan and direct projects with maximum flexibility and minimum disruption of current operations and services.- Maintain license agreements. Implement the review of software used in computer labs, classrooms and offices to ensure usage is within copyright guidelines.- Interact and work cooperatively with the college community on assessing needs and effectiveness of Campus Technology Services, and collaborate with instructional administration and faculty to ensure effective computer and media equipment, software, and related systems and support are provided in classrooms and laboratories with the District.- Remain current on trends and technology changes; evaluates new hardware, software, and related equipment for functionality and fit to current operating environment and user needs.

Oversee all aspects of Technology Support within the District through the Campus Technology Managers who are responsible for all technology at the assign campus including the continued operation of the campus conference centers, meeting rooms, classrooms, labs, offices, as well as off-site venues. Plan, implement and maintain A/V equipment across the district. Coordinate and implement technology projects, updated functional requirements and replacement of outdated technology. Work collaboratively with the Help Desk Manager and other Technology Support Leadership.- Supervise Campus Technology Managers in all aspects of technology support.- Maintain regular contact with faculty and staff to monitor level of service provided. Identify and ensure the accuracy of steps taken in dealing with work-flow issues.- Implements and manages staff, faculty, and student support and technology services support models that address and bring resolution to the technical needs of the college.- Collaborate with faculty, staff and the Campus Technology Managers to ensure proper technology equipment, software, and processes are utilized throughout the district. Act as liaison with all areas of the College (Executive Leadership, Provosts, Deans, Associate Deans, Directors) in the management and support of technology.- Maintain accurate records on software, hardware, equipment utilization and problems.- Monitor emerging technologies, develop specifications and make recommendations for necessary acquisitions of new equipment.- Integrate new technologies into existing structures of classrooms, offices and conference centers.- Maintain familiarity with and ensure compliance with district policies and procedures to ensure copyright laws are not violated.- Assist with preparation of the annual budget for assigned area of responsibility. Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with District fiscal policies.- Serve as back up to the Director of Campus Technology as needed.
