I manage the Community Engagement team developing and overseeing the implementation of a number of strategies including the customer involvement strategy, corporate social responsibility strategy and energy efficiency strategy. I ensure the organisation is providing opportunities for customers to get involved and have their say as well a making sure we meet the HCA empowerment & involvement standards. I also work with other HAs, local authorities, local agencies and community groups to provide customers with training and employment opportunities, digital inclusion and 'green' education opportunities. I organise a staff charity vote every 2 years to fulfil our corporate CSR promise and organise opportunities for all staff to spend their allocated CSR hours to help the chosen charity alongside various fundraising events.

I manage the resident involvement and community development strategy for the organisation working with residents as well as a range of local agencies and community groups. I encourage residents to get involved within the organisation to help scrutinise and improve the services they receive and I encourage them to get involved in their communities to ensure that our neighbourhoods are safe and enjoyable places to live.
