Jen is a business development strategist. She’s a big-picture thinker with a keen sense for the critical details. She supports owners, presidents, and other strategy and innovation leaders by working with them to develop strategic plans, business models and enhanced products and services to meet future market needs. Jen’s expertise includes stakeholder engagement, customer insights, and idea development, as well as program management. She’s a business model expert and has helped over 20 companies launch new revenue streams that are scalable and in-demand.One of Jen’s superpowers is asking insightful questions. She’s able to suss out root causes driven by human needs and motivations. Since selling is all about meeting people’s needs, this skill has served her well in helping companies differentiate their solutions and drive impactful results.Inspired by the realization that ‘money moves things’ Jen established a consultancy aimed at helping businesses generate profits and purpose, and helping leaders achieve business success that amplifies their influence and impact. She has spent the past 20+ years in business development, marketing, service design and program management. She was Admissions Director on the founding team of Harrisburg University – a higher ed startup that bootstrapped its way to success and today has over 5000 students. Later, she developed and managed new revenue streams across the university through corporate-facing programs and services as Director of Strategic Programs. Jen also worked in state government as Director of the Governor’s Office of Innovation in Pennsylvania, where she worked with agency heads to coordinate innovation initiatives. She has an MBA from Penn State University and occasionally teaches graduate courses in entrepreneurship and design thinking. Jen recently completed the Brené Brown Dare to Lead certificate on managing vulnerability and braving difficult conversation—essential skills for fostering workplace innovation. Jen is on the Board of Directors of YWCA Lancaster, where she actively works to eliminate racism and empower women. She is also on the marketing committee for United Way Lancaster.
