www.jennifergingras.designI became a Graphic Designer to spread information and ideas. I make information visible and accessible. I love connecting people with ideas that help build communities and create positive change. When I took my first fine arts Printmaking class, it changed the way I thought about art. In Printmaking I could make so many copies of my work that I could hand them to people on the street for free. And I did. The seed was planted for my future as a Designer. It was when I worked in a bookstore that I fell in love with typography and layouts and the myriad of ways to visually communicate. It was a natural progression for me to make a career move into the Design industry. I've worked in marketing departments, collaborated with other creative teams as a freelancer, and designed for non-profits. I’m skilled in Typography, Visual Storytelling, Layout Design, and Branding & Identity. My toolkit includes Adobe Creative Cloud, a pencil, a sketchbook, a foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus an insatiable desire to learn. Whether I’m taking Hubspot certification courses, attending industry events, or finding webinars focused on design and tech topics, I’m always learning something new.
