25+ years of experience in office administration. The last 16 years have been with one company specializing in heavy truck suspension repair. In my position as Operations Manager, I am responsible for accounting, payroll, benefit administration, Human Resources, onboarding, off boarding, collections, shipping, travel arrangements, warranty management, appointment scheduling, supply ordering and customer service. Now if I could only work on those trucks!I started at this company in 2007 on a kitchen counter with a cordless phone that I had to look for every morning. In 2023, I'm proud to say we have two fully functioning facilities (San Diego & Irvine) and I travel between them to make sure both the company and employees are firing on all cylinders. We upgraded to VOIP a long time ago!Prior to this my training and experience was in Travel & Tourism, way back when we actually had travel agents book our vacation getaways and business trips. Somehow this has come full circle, I've found my way back to the hospitality industry. In 2016 I decided to open Pineapple Hospitality Events, an event planning/ coordinating company. I'm happy to have this side gig, as an empty nester it keeps me busy and clients happy as we get them to their big wedding day.
