About Jennifer Thompson

I am a designer, innovator, & creative leader.  I have experience turning common perceptions of product, design, & people on their head.  Whenever I am in the room, real questions get asked & real problems get solved.I believe in the power of "being remarkably different" versus "just marginally better than." We are all unique and different in this world. We need to use this power. This power of being deviant. I am not afraid to peel the onion to get to the real heart of an issue.  While others are looking to build a better toothbrush, I am leading teams to create better ways of cleaning teeth. (This is metaphorical, I haven’t invented a new dental hygiene system, although it is something I should look at.)  What I describe here, is my philosophy around problem-solving for both companies & individuals. For individuals, the “problem” might be exploring a new career or expanding leadership skills. Where others look only at experience & education to craft a surface level plan.  I delve deep. Helping folks uncover their “Unfair Competitive Advantage.” This is a unique blend of their values, voice, & view which creates their special sauce. Defining & developing this unique blend results in clarity & confidence that is true and authentic. When individuals stand tall in their Unfair Competitive Advantage they have more impact, lead with clarity, & are happier. With companies, I create products that are unique & dynamic in a market of sameness. As a consultant, I work with companies to establish a culture where everyone feels SAFE© to be their unique self & share daringly innovative ideas. I lead workshops, speak, coach executives & teams, facilitate problem-solving, & grow your business.Areas of specialty include: Keynote Speaking, Writing, Resume Development, Career Coaching, Interviewing, Strategy, Personality Assessments - NeuroColor, Product Development, Creative Culture, Action Learning, Workshops. Want to learn more?
