Project Manager And Planner
Project Manager & Planner
Idi Engineer/Technical Writer For Halliburton Sperry Drilling Technology
Currently working with Information Development Inc. as a Technical Writer for Halliburton Sherry Drilling Technology projects.
Independent Contractor / Re Titans Llc
I developed a purchasing and project management department for RE Titans LLC to reconstruct and restore insured flood victims’ homes. I created a process to track client needs, selections, and cost versus budget throughout the job phases. • My organization and documentation system saved the company approximately $20,000 in potential disputes regarding client selections. • I increased our retail vendor relationships from 2 to 8 (400%) that aided in our supply and selection needs. With that addition, I wrote a client approved vendor pamphlet as well as client and sub-vendor training manuals for the project software.
Consultant
I was contracted to work with the software developers and sales team to improve and market several tools. I aided in securing a client by using my industry and reporting knowledge to clarify goals and steps with the software engineers, data analysts, engineers, and managers. I advised on PHDWin database integration and user functionality for their CPSX (budgeting/reserve modeling) and APX (invoicing) tool. I created “cheat sheets” for future and current clients. I tested and advised on their in-house type curve prototype tool for capital drilling/workover planning. I created custom dashboard reports to be applied to existing interfaces.
Engineer / Asset Manager
I was recruited to Tabula Rasa as a junior engineer, gaining CO2 flooding experience and exposure to field startups. I joined to oversee its continual developing CO2 field in Seminole, Texas and to start up its second CO2 flooded field in Andrews, Texas. • I took a data/tracking system with minimal organization and developed an AFE (Authorization For Expenditures) coding/tracking system using Microsoft Access and an invoice coding system for easier cost analysis and tracking. • In the first year, I saved approximately $750,000 by reducing the supplemental AFEs from 30 AFEs to 5 AFEs with my tracking and invoicing system. • I expanded upon the original project reporting system by adding the new coding system for cost tracking and writing a VBA macros program to eliminate some consistent human errors. This allowed for cleaner, more reputable data from the field. • I created databases in Microsoft Access to store records and perform quicker analyses for things like Working Interest Owners election status, AFE tracking, well failures, and other financial information versus well variables.
Senior Staff Engineer Technician
I took this position as a growth and location opportunity. While working for Eagle Rock, I created an efficient and seamless work environment that allows staff engineers and managers to evaluate engineering processes to maximize production and completion work. This included writing VBA macro programs to organize data to analyze, which cut down on work hours by 2-3 hours per week and sped up decision-making processes.
Senior Operations Technician
I was initially contracted to develop PFD (process flow diagrams) facility drawings and tank battery inventory for all its fields. I came on full time as an Senior Operations Technician and quickly corrected several processes that drained several hours from the workday. I was promoted to Engineer Technician where I created the historical production framework for OFM (Schlumberger software). This is where I taught myself SQL coding.
Barnett Shale Production Engineer
I joined Chesapeake right out of college and got serious exposure to a highly competitive and fast paced business environment. I started this journey working in the field, gradually stepping out with more responsibility to manage daily operations and field personnel, both service companies and Chesapeake employees. The pivotal moment for me was after observing several wells significantly decline in production after fracturing new nearby wells, I voluntarily put together a fracturing impact study. That allowed us to review data depending on various variables and optimize drilling and completion planning and production saving methods for future wells and development. This spurred another study to discover the optimal time to run tubing in a new well. This study undoubtedly optimized our new well completion/production methods.
