I was brought up on a farm near Ungarie, in Central West NSW. I studied science at CSU and then started my career as a lab technician at the ANU Research School of Chemistry.I then became the mum of 3 gorgeous boys and moved to a small farm near Braidwood. I am finance manager of my husband's small computer company and help manage our small beef enterprise.In 2014, along with my good friend, Cathy Owen, we became cofounders of Garlicious Grown Pty Ltd - Australia's largest Black Garlic company. We take beautiful hard neck purple Monaro garlic, that we grow or source from other local growers and turn it into rich, umami flavoured, soft and sweet black garlic. We do this with just temperature, humidity and time - nothing added.We are looking for great chefs and restaurants to showcase our decadent but healthy product to help spread the gourmet word on black garlic and give everyone the 'joy'!
