I have always liked numbers. Math is like a refuge, it makes sense and it is rational. I am also pretty good with numbers. For this reason, I became the financial manager of my household, and am currently pursuing a degree in Applied Business Management. I have managed my household budget for more than 20-years, tracking and maintaining financial records, conducting bank reconciliations, and account payables and receivables. I created my own excel program and employ the use of IF statements, Vlookups, and other functions to reconcile my bank accounts and the family budget down to the cent.I also coordinate the schedules of my four children, my husband, and myself, which include school, work, homework, church responsibilities, lessons, and other extracurricular activities. Despite the craziness of our schedules I have insisted on a homemade, healthy dinner, served at the table, daily. I enjoy spending this time and any time I can get with my family. Besides eating together, we love to camp, hike, and work in the yard together.I have worked hard to create a comfortable, fun, uplifting atmosphere where family and friends are encouraged to work hard, grow, learn, and gather.
