Lead a dynamic, cross-disciplinary team of experts in river protection, restoration and conservation. National initiatives include: the Free Rivers Campaign, to remove unsafe, outdated dams across the country; Just Water Initiative, to engage marginalized communities in shared water governance; and Stormwater Currency, to create private market financing mechanisms for cities to implement sustainable water management; and Climate Science, to inform all American Rivers' work with the newest climate data. Georgia-based work includes urban transformation and water justice work such as the Intrenchment Creek One Water Management Task Force, Finding the Flint, Atlanta Watershed Learning Network and the City of Atlanta Water Equity Task Force.

Negotiated and implemented a strategic partnership with the National Park Service-Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance Program and the Appalachian Mountain Club to collaboratively provide staff for the Bronx River Project, the Highbridge and other community-based efforts to access, enjoy and restore waterways & natural areas in metro-New York

 Catalyzed and coordinated a multi-agency, community-based project to restore and protect the Bronx River and its 8 mile-940 acre greenway; convened a watershed-wide alliance of over 60 governmental agencies, community-based organizations, environmental groups, schools, and businesses; supervised four watershed-wide programs: ecological restoration, greenway development, outreach and education; created the Bronx River Alliance, Inc., a new non-profit, to sustain the river work Leveraged over $113 million in public funding for land acquisition, ecological studies and capital projects; secured over $750,000 in private funds for river-related programming and management; administered nearly $1 million in Federal (NOAA, NRCS, & USFS) grants & re-grants for land acquisition and protection Prepared and implemented the Bronx River Action Plan (1999), outlining parks and open space, river protection, recreational, and programmatic opportunities  Served as Inaugural Executive Director of the newly created Bronx River Alliance from September 2001 to April 2002.
