Thesis: Response to Intervention for Kindergartners at Risk for Developing Math Learning DisabilitiesThesis Evaluation:You did an outstanding job on your thesis research this year. You immersed yourself in the literature on math disabilities and were very skilled in interpreting the research and summarizing it in your literature review. Your dedication to the math RTI project was very impressive. Going to Interboro three times a week to deliver the intervention was a major time commitment. I was extremely impressed with your facility with Excel and the graphs you were able to generate to characterize the progress of the children over the course of the year. You picked up very quickly how to run your analyses in SPSS and did a very good job of writing up your results. You write well, so your thesis needed very light editing. Even your first drafts were excellent.Your presentation at the thesis symposium was also excellent. Your slides were very elegant and informative –and the input/output/objectives scheme you came up with as a framework added a nice dimension. Overall, you really distinguished yourself on this project, which is highly deserving of honors.
