• Team Lead Business Identity.Through the creation and marketing of "micro" business identities, Vistaprint gives its customers the ability to present themselves to their own customers in a professional manner. As a team lead, I have been responsible for leading a team of up to twelve designers in the creation of these business identity products that form Vistaprint's core product offering.• Career Manager.Responsible for directing the career path of Vistaprint designers. Advocate for design opportunities that align with Vistaprint's business objectives. Responsible for assisting designers in the development of skills that will align their strengths with the needs of the department and Vistaprint's overall business strategy.

• Creative lead for the launch of Vistaprint's Embroidered products. This was an interesting challenge as I was required to learn how to "digitize" a two-dimensional design in order to create a thread pattern for out embroidery machines to follow. I had to teach this skill onto several designers in our Lexington office, as well as designers overseas in our Jamaican office. I provided technical feedback for our software developers to create a special embroidery interface that would allow use to integrate embroidered designs more easily with Vistaprint's production system.• Responsible for leading designer acceptance of new design standards as it relates to Vistaprint's business identity core product offering. Responsible for assisting the creation of best practice documentation as well as example design content to illustrate Vistaprint's evolving approach to designing our core product offering.

• Responsible for the creation of Vistaprint identity product and matching collateral.• Creative lead for Vistaprint's Keychain product.This product was a challenge as the design phase included the creation of a cutting pattern that would enable each of our keychains to have its own custom shape. I was required to work with capabilities and manufacturing in order to test the limits of the shapes that we could create and then train Vistaprint designers in the creation of this product.• Creative lead for Vistaprint's Promo Products testing.I worked with Vistaprint's software developers to create a series of designs layouts that could utilize the same creative assets across the range of products in order to create a product that can be automatically generated on the fly to meet out customer's needs.• Adobe Creative Training classes.Led a series of creative training classes to enhance the technical design skills of the Vistaprint design team. Created a series of training documents and one hour classes to teach useful techniques for efficiently using the Adobe Creative Suite to create designs for Vistaprint content. Coordinated with other Adobe experts to facilitate additional classes beyond my own areas of expertise.

• Responsible for the creation of Vistaprint identity products and matching collateral.• Window Decals creative lead.Assisted in the testing and best practice creation of Vistaprint's Window Decals product. This product was an interesting design challenge as it was Vistaprint's first time printing on transparent substrates. Trained the Vistaprint design team in the techniques necessary for preparing documents for printing on transparent substrates.• Assist in the overhaul of Vistaprint's Caricatures product offering including the creation of over 100 caricature illustrations.• Helped launch Vistaprint's initial T-Shirt product offering.

I worked in the UMass Lowell Graphic Design lab for 4 years. My main responsibility was to teach underclassmen how to use the design software available in the lab, including Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Ilustrator, Dreamweaver, Maya & Lightwave 3D. I was also responsible for maintaining the PC hardware and providing technical support to the professors.

My responsibilities were to lead and direct up to 30 associates per shift in the proper delivery of Hananford's customer service standards. I was responsible for the training of all Front-End associates in proper techniques and standards, and was to ensure that these standards were met at all times.
