Responsibilities include: -- Implementation of the change management strategy for the ICT programme of work across the trust.- Advising on the strategic direction of health informatics design, implementation and delivery.- The implementation of Electronic Patient Records (EPR) and Electronic Prescribing and Administration by engaging key stakeholders- Ensuring the transformation process is clinically led to facilitate sustainable change- Leading the process of change across the trust whenever new ICT projects are implemented. - Understanding current practices and local requirements and developing these to meet the vision and strategy of the trust for ICT.- Encouraging and managing clinical engagement, being responsible for ensuring agreed change processes are achieved. - Working flexibly to ensure deadlines are met.- Provide clinical overview and expertise to the design and development of informatics-enable change programmes and development strategies, plans and activity to ensure they deliver safe, effective, evidence-based and accessible services and systems - Apply well developed communication and relationship skills to provide motivation, encourage collaborative working and to overcome resistance to change. - Acting as a champion for clinical informatics systems as an enabler for safe and effective care.- Responsibility for the development of learning plans to support the implementation of specific projects and the overall ICT programme of work.- Responsibility for the production of training needs assessments for the various staff groups.- Responsibility for the development of change management policies and procedures for the ICT programme of work.- Contribute to the financial planning for the change elements of the ICT programme of work and monitor expenditure against budgets.- Chairing relevant working groups.- Representing ICT and nursing at relevant meetings.
