CurrentAs the head of the podcast network at REI Co-op, I am responsible for leading and managing all production, growth, and marketing initiatives. - Lead the creative and strategic development of the podcast program, overseeing day-to-day production, go-to-market campaigns, cross-functional and external partner collaboration, resource allocation, budget management, and analytics reporting.- Conceptualized and launched the podcast video strategy on Instagram and YouTube, successfully driving brand engagement across channels and expanding the podcast’s reach.- Partnered with the Vendor Sponsorship team to establish a podcast network advertising program, resulting in diverse opportunities for our advertisers partners, and securing a production budget for our podcast slate.- Collaborate with advertising partners on branded ad campaigns, including ad copy, production management, and detailed performance reporting. - Partner with internal marketing teams to create branded mid-roll ads to support quarterly campaign and enterprise objectives. - Built and nurtured relationships with external production companies, industry creatives, and show hosts to ensure high-quality, innovative content.- Manage three external production teams (including producers, hosts/talent, audio editors), driving creative approach, providing resources to meet production timelines, and ensuring content aligns with REI’s values, content standards and brand messaging. - Serve as producer for REI’s flagship podcasts, including Wild Ideas Worth Living, Camp Monsters, and Hello, Nature (Season 2), guiding projects from pre-production to final edits.- Manage multiple productions calendars and deadlines including booking guests and recording logistics, pre-interviews and episode research, editing, and story shaping. - Own platform distribution process for all shows including scheduling episodes, show note and title ideation, artwork and social asset creation.
