Futuregov is a digital and service design agency for public services.Over the past ten years FutureGov have helped more than a hundred local and national authorities across four continents think differently about public services. We use design, technology and change to make public services more human. We work with leaders to design organisations fit for the 21st century. As a User Experience Designer I span product and service design, understanding user needs, insights, and creating products and experiences that are centred around users and help shape services. I have worked on projects across various domains - from housing & homelessness, planning, social care, to fostering and environmental services. Not only helping creating better public services, but supporting organisations to do so too.

Part of the digital team, working as a consultancy on digital channels across the organization.Worked on 2 projects within the education sector with a user-centred process. Working with stakeholders, conducting user research, workshops and user testing.Projects included an online exam registration system for both students and schools that piloted in S.E. Asia.Another was the design of a website for international learning and teaching for the audience of teachers in the UK and worldwide. We conducted user interviews, stakeholder workshops, information architecture and user testing to finalize the design.

Copenhagen Area, Denmark

Worked on a tele-medicine project with Leapcraft (contract)Collaborated with designers and health professionals to translate cognitive behaviour therapy into a telemedicine service to help treat depression. Contributed concepts, mapped services flows and designed wireframes. This was for the Internet Psychiatry project for the Region of Southern Denmark and is currently in a clinical trial period.Worked on and delivered information architecture, user flows/journey frameworks, service design flows, interface wireframes and design concepts.

Vancouver, Canada Area

Part of SAP StreamWork project team, a social and collaborative enterprise web and mobile application. Lead designer on the social feed design, concepts and future design visions.Delivered interface designs, conducted usability testing, collaborated with designers, developers and project managers in an agile sprint based development process. Worked on web, ipad and iphone designs for the feed application.

Palo Alto And San Francisco

Internship working on four projects in multi-disciplinary teams and also individually during my eight month internship.Worked on a business software web application for a business and marketing company, an online community based website and internal digital tools.Conducted user interviews, created interface designs, identified workflows + requirements and brainstorming sessions.Created design documents, specifications, and wireframes delivered to clients.This was a client facing role, and i supported presentation creation and delivery.

Internship working in the user experience team to enhance and design business intelligence software. Planned, coordinated and conducted usability studies, created scenarios, user scripts, identified workflows and requirements. Created design documents, usability reports, interface specifications and learned about data visulization design.
