I am passionate about serving clients. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing tax compliance and tax consulting services for pass-through entities. I spent 15 years at KPMG serving private equity and real estate funds - assisting with acquisitions, exit strategies, tax compliance and consulting for investments, funds, and owners. In 2018, CLA reached out with a leadership position I could not refuse - to lead the DC Tax Practice. In serving privately held businesses of all shapes and sizes in the professional services industry, I found my best and highest use. I continued to grow my tax technical skills while serving clients. But my real passion in serving clients and improving the client experience took off. I began to build teams of business advisors to look, not only at the tax impact, but at every level to help my clients reach their goals. Enhancing the client experience, eliminating the fear and anxiety of a new business challenge and being a trusted business advisor is what I strive for all of my clients.
