My passion and expertise lie in community development, program management, education, advocacy, and fostering collaboration and a sense of purpose for individuals, organizations, and businesses.My professional journey includes a decade in the Telecommunications Industry, where I engaged in administrative, analyst, and recruiting roles. Following that, I established my own small businesses and spent 15+ years in the non-profit sector. Initially focused on communication and advocacy efforts, my roles have expanded to include program and project management, education, fundraising, grant-writing, volunteer management, strategy, operations, and community developmentI currently serve as the Director of Community Development for Vine & Fig Tree where I get to combine my skills in program and project management and the non-profit sector to work with local business and non-profit partners to provide job training, trauma-informed workplace consulting, and serve aged-out foster youth and other under-resourced communities. Additionally, I am honored to serve on the Board at Grit+Gumption and work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children in Arlington and Alexandria.
