From branded content to messaging toolkits to creating fresh copy for landing pages, ads, and newsletters, I thrive on variety in both print and digital spaces. I've written for Samsung (Mobile), Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Dollar Shave Club, MEL Magazine, SLMD Skincare, Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Choice Hotels, and the Center for Creative Leadership, among others. At Xtabay, my job was making each customer's wedding dreams come true. By creating a warm, comfortable atmosphere during each private bridal appointment, I selected dresses, suggested accessories, and helped customers walk away with their perfect wedding dress. I also assisted in styling and photographing vintage clothing from both the bridal boutique and the main shop to sell online, as well as assisted with occasional website maintenance.

I researched, wrote, reviewed, fact-checked, edited, and published original articles through WordPress for the online version of Four Seasons Magazine. In addition to writing and editing for the main magazine site, I also helped manage the monthly newsletter, wrote daily tweets for both the magazine and corporate Twitter handles, and played a major role in the launch of the Four Seasons Weddings blog. Managing freelance contracts, invoices, and the budget database rounded out the rest of my duties.

As Editor, I led development and execution of all editorial content for Seminole Gaming's employer-to-employee program, It's All You, which included creating editorial lineups, maintaining status sheets, assigning articles, copyediting and proofreading all content. I interviewed corporate executives and employees for personal profiles, researched and wrote original monthly web content including how-to articles and company news, as well as additional content for a quarterly newsletter. Under my leadership, I was able to renew the client's satisfaction with our work, which ultimately led to new business for the agency.

As Assistant Editor at Four Seasons Magazine, I proofed layouts in various stages and contributed some copy writing for front-of-book pages, which included researching and contacting primarily fashion and beauty companies to send products for photo shoots. While working on the print version of the magazine, this was also the time I got my first taste of writing and editing digital content. I wrote numerous articles for the monthly e-newsletter as well as general web content, fact-checked and proofed articles for online publication, and became proficient in using WordPress in order to upload content to the magazine’s new website, FourSeasonsMagazine.com.

I wrote multiple articles per issue in addition to fact-checking, copy editing, and proofreading layouts. My other primary duties included managing an issue archive database and writers database as well as organizing all reader mail (both emails and post) plus general administrative office duties.
